Lady In Red
Cherry, rose, scarlet, ruby, crimson, there is an entry point for almost every kind of lady in red this winter. You can make a head-to-toe statement like Delpozo or do a tonal mix like Galliano, either way it’s the season to be red hot!
Mad For Plaid
Remember Cher’s iconic yellow plaid separates from Clueless? Yes, welcome the preppy and punk back to your closet. Be it crafty like Miu Miu, low key like Loewe or slouchy like Balenciaga, you’re going to need a lot of checks, plaid and tartan for layering this winter.
Sparkle And Shine
Crystal mesh, full-length sequins, silver lamé and many other shimmery fabrics walked down the Fall’17 runways, proving the best way to get noticed is with a heavy dose of metallics. Time to look at the bright side and bring high-shine back to your life.
What’s the it-girl dress for the party season going to look like? Well, we know it’s going to have whimsical feather trims just like Sarah Burton’s dresses for Alexander McQueen. And if you’re a 40’s glam girl, then your fur outerwear would be as regal as Zuhair Murad and Lanvin.
This fall, experiment with gloss and shine. Just like our designers at Saint Laurent and Balmain, think futuristic and think patent leather, PVC and all-black.
From Balenciaga to Schiaparelli, fall’17 saw a lot of dots sashaying down the runway. Looks like you need to bring back the Minnie Mouse print and give it your own sartorial spin.
It’s time for your leisure wear to take the back seat while you brace yourself for some fine tailoring and power suiting. Fitted blazers and double breasted cuts mark out the new business uniform, take Stella McCartney as your hero.
Super chic and super comfy are the buzzwords for winter dressing. Everyone from Sonia Rykiel to Sacai seem to be modifying, deconstructing and embellishing the puffer jacket. As for you, it’s time to let loose your inner RiRi!
Consider Spring’17 florals as a warm up to the full-power botanic winter. Our only tip, don’t just feel girly and romantic because the ones flourishing through Fendi and Delpozo quaintly remind us of quirky-vintage tapestry.
