The Project Café was first founded in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India in 2014 by Drasty Shah and Ekta Chopra. Drasty’s desire to integrate hospitality and the creative world of art, design, music, literature and culinary arts, all under one roof gave birth to The Project Café. Armed with a post graduate degree in Hospitality business from Johnson and Wales University, Providence USA, she created an artistic sanctuary for travellers and artists: you’re free to collaborate, exhibit your work and conduct workshops at the property.
After their success in Ahmedabad, phase two was opening The Project Café in Goa, India, in December 2017, where they introduced their Experiential Hospitality Concept. Consisting of six rooms that have been designed by six different designers, the 1300 sq.ft Portuguese villa in Assago dispels the notion that art is only restricted to galleries. Aradhana Seth, Ruchika Rawat, Neeta Kumar, Hiren Patel, Anuj Sharma, Pulin Shah, Nidhi Khurana, Thomas Louis, and Jagrut Raval are some of the talented designers that have created magical spaces in the villa.
Art is an intrinsic part of your stay and you can purchase any object you see: from the furniture to the crockery and paintings, it can all be yours! If you’re looking for something more than the usual sun sand and R&R that Goa has to offer, stay in this 130 year old villa and enjoy a whole new experience.
