Covid-19 has changed the world as we’ve known it.  The way we socialise, interact with people, travel, work and shop-all of it. Though the lockdown has lifted for some of us, few will be hitting the mall or heading to a designer store anytime soon. Indian designers are adapting to this change and are coming up with innovative ways to ensure their staffs and customers safety.

Payal Khandwala’s epynomous brand, is one of the first Indian designers to embrace this change. Those living in Mumbai and Bengaluru, India can avail their home shopping service. So how does it work you ask? Their senior client executives guide, recommend and offer customised sizing options to each customer via video calls. They also have 360 degree videos and images of their garments that can be sent across for reference. Once a garment(s) has been selected, they ensure it remains untouched for a minimum of 48 hours, post which it is sealed in sanitised packaging and delivered to your doorstep. You have the option of keeping the garment or return it within 24 hours for either and exchange or refund. “We  had to find a pragmatic balance between convenience, safety, and luxury client experiences,” says Khandwala, “We believe this provides our patrons the convenience of online shopping along with the added luxury and attention of an individual professional.”
